Tagaytay City, Cavite

 Fruit vendors are abound in Tagaytay which you can buy different fruits like pineapple,senyorita bananas,mangoes,melon etc..you can also buy  kaong vinegar here.

It is a home of Sardinella tawilis the only freshwater sardines or locally known as Tawilis. 
A Rare sea snake Hydrophis semperi or Garman's sea snake is also found in the lake.
 

Tagaytay City
 After a quite long hiatus,me and my friends finally hit the road again.Off to a place where we can enjoy a cold weather and try the famous Batangas Bulalo.


Tagaytay City is only 56 kms south of Manila.One of the reason why it is one most popular tourist spots for travellers it's because of it's cool climate and a spectacular view of the Taal volcano.

Another favorite meal at Leslie's is Beef kare-kare best paired with bagoong.The price is at P350 good for 4 persons.


Beef Bulalo
Bulalo or Beef Marrow soup is a specialty of Batangas and the best place to try it is at Leslie's Restaurant.It cost P600 good for 4 persons.




Mahogany Market's Beef Bulalo & Gotong Batangas
If you are on a budget the best place to eat Beef Bulalo is at Mahogany Market located at Mahogany Avenue.A serving of Bulalo here is only P300 good for 4 persons.there are other dishes that you can try like gotong batangas,chicharong bulaklak,tawilis(fresh water sardine),biya(long-finned goby)and kalderatang kambing.

Daranak Falls
Daranak falls is 14 ft high falls nestled in the mountainous region of Tanay Province in Rizal.It is 65 km drive  from Manila.A well preserved park with natural vegetation.One of the waterfalls found in the province of Rizal.
From Cubao or Crossing you can ride an  fx/jeepney to Tanay and you can tell the driver to drop you at the Tanay Market.From there you can rent a tricycle to take you to Daranak falls usually it cost from P200-300.The Entrance fee is only P20/person and you can also rent a cottage for P100.The park is open from 8am-5pm.If you want to go to upstream there is Batlag Falls the entrance fee is P50 but if you plan to bring a Dslr camera they charge P3000.Batlag falls is privately-owned and is popular shooting locations for movies and fantaserye.
